A spa vacation with fly fishing!   Experience the beauty of one of Colorado's oldest and finest guest ranches near Creede, Colorado.   Renew yourself with a week-long trip of good fly fishing, striking scenery, gourmet food and the camaraderie of other women anglers.   Our group has full use of the Ranch with miles of lovely private trout stream, hot springs spa, massage or yoga, horseback riding and a friendly, attentive staff.   It's the fun adventure escape you need.

More than a Retreat

Fly fishing is fun and our week is arranged to be welcoming for women who already fly fish and for those who want to learn.   We offer three options for participants.

For the more self-sufficient, our women's Retreat gives you all the amenities that the Ranch has to offer and the freedom to schedule your own days at a special group rate.   Fish as much as you want, or enjoy a horseback ride or a soak in the hot springs tub.   Enjoy meals at the lodge and evening activities with the whole group.

School is available for "beginner-beginners" or those needing a thorough, structured introduction to fly fishing.   We cover all the basics: casting, fly selection, wading safely, knot tying and (of course) playing, landing and releasing fish.   Daily half-day instruction gives you the balance of the day to explore on your own.   Fishing equipment can be provided as needed.

Our Retreat Plus is best for women who don't yet feel completely independent, but already have an introduction.   Two half-days of instruction review and extend basic skills (casting, knot-tying and rigging, reading water and presenting flies) and brief, daily trouble-shooting sessions will help beginners transition to intermediate levels and have greater confidence in their own own abilities.
